We’d like to give you a clear update on shipping to the USA following the recent changes in import tariffs and the removal of the de minimis exemption.
First things first: we can still ship to the USA without any issues. All our US orders are shipped with DHL Express, and everything is running smoothly. The regular US postal service route is temporarily suspended until things become clearer, but with DHL Express, your DryBell orders are moving quickly and reliably.
How the process works
First, all orders placed in our webshop before noon (12:00 PM CET) on a business day are shipped the same day. In addition to the pedal price and shipping costs paid in our webshop, you’ll need to pay import charges in your country directly to DHL. Once your order is shipped, you’ll get an SMS or email from DHL with a breakdown of your import fees and a direct payment link. It’s quick and easy – just pay through the link, and your package will be released for delivery.
Delivery is usually completed within 2-3 business days. Delays are rare and usually only happen if the import fees aren’t paid on time. According to recent feedback from our U.S. customers, the whole process is smooth and straightforward.
What extra costs to expect
Here’s a simple breakdown of what you can expect to pay:
- 15% customs duty on the value of the goods
- $1.34 regulatory charges (fixed)
- $17 duty tax processing (fixed)
