The Unit67 is a precision-engineered, multi-functional tool that allows you to unlock unparalleled tone and a new exciting playing feel you'll love instantly.
Connected between your guitar and amp, the Unit67 becomes an incredibly powerful and handy tone-shaping tool. Also, includes a classic treble boost.
When it comes to your pedalboard, place the Unit67 anywhere in your chain – it stacks nicely with other pedals and works its magic in any position! It also serves as an exceptional pedalboard buffer. Experiment to find your ideal spot! With its incredibly low-noise design, you have complete freedom in placement.
Place it before your drives for enhanced gain and sustain, or later for a massive boost in volume, depending on your amp's headroom. Remember, placing a compressor after dirt/gain pedals (Fuzz especially) can also amplify their own noise, so experiment! The versatile EQ set, especially the Rangemaster-style treble booster (Range), helps you cut through the mix regardless of placement. Starting with a clean boost - the foundation for many guitar setups – we carefully crafted and combined a unique blend of classic analog features into the Unit67. Each feature is designed to benefit a wide range of musicians and playing styles, all while remaining simple and intuitive to use.
Boosted guitar tones are great, but the real magic happens when those smooth notes last longer while fitting perfectly in the mix. That's why we added a special type of compression inspired by a studio legend, the UREI 1176. It gives you smooth, natural compression and enables the perfect balance of sustain and pick dynamics. A simple 'Sustain' knob lets you dial in exactly the right amount of compression for you. Think of it as a 'more' feature for your guitar tone!
That was not the end of the Unit67’s journey. We added precise tone control with an EQ set consisting of low and high knobs, and a very specific "Range" control. The Range (Master) control, also known as a Treble Booster, helps you cut through the mix and enriches your tone with glorious sparkle; especially in situations when you’re using darker toned amps or guitar pickups. The Range combined with a touch of sustain and boosted just enough, delivers THAT bite and lead tone that pushes you to the forefront.
