DryBell 2-Year Warranty Overview
Welcome to the DryBell pedal Warranty and Repair page! We hope you enjoy your DryBell pedal for many years to come. To ensure 2-year warranty coverage and flawless operation, please read the following instructions and terms carefully.
Instructions for Proper Use
- Thoroughly Read the User Manual: Find all the essential information about using and maintaining your pedal in the included user manual. For further support and guidance, visit Manuals & FAQ. For any unresolved issues, please contact DryBell.
- Use the Correct Power Supply: Ensure you use the power supply recommended in the user manual.
- Protect from Damage: Avoid drops, spills, and rough handling of your pedal.
- Store and Transport with Care: Always use the original box (or similar protective packaging) when storing or sending your pedal in for service.
Troubleshooting
Before requesting a repair, please try these simple troubleshooting steps:
- Check your setup: Ensure all the cables are plugged in, making good connections, and are not faulty.
- Make sure you are using the correct power supply.
- Isolate the Pedal: Test the pedal alone (guitar - pedal - amp) to eliminate possible problems caused by other gear in your signal chain.
These quick checks often solve common issues, saving you time and ensuring a faster fix if repair is actually needed.
Getting Service Within the Warranty Period
DryBell offers a 2-year warranty on all pedals. This means we will repair any defects in material or workmanship free of charge within 2 years of the purchase date.
Please do not send your pedal for repair before contacting us and obtaining authorization.
If your DryBell pedal malfunctions within the warranty period, follow this guide to report the issue and initiate the repair process:
- Send Us a Service Request Email at info@drybell.com.
- Include the following in your email:
- Pedal model
- Pedal serial number
- A detailed and clear description of the problem
- A photo of the damaged pedal (if applicable)
- A video of the issue (if applicable)
- Your name and address
- A copy of the original invoice for your DryBell pedal
- We'll typically respond to your email within 24 hours (excluding weekends) and may ask some additional questions about the problem. Sometimes we can resolve issues without needing you to send in your pedal.
- If it's necessary to send your pedal for service, include your personal information, a copy of your original DryBell pedal receipt, and a printed copy of your service email in the package. Use the original (or similar) packaging and carefully pack the pedal.
- Before shipping, we will provide you with detailed instructions on where and how to send your pedal for repair.
- Once the pedal has arrived for service, a DryBell tech will inspect it. If it's determined that the pedal hasn't been used according to the instructions and recommendations, the warranty will be void, and repair costs will apply.
- While we prioritize repairs, typically completing them within 1-3 working days (from when we receive the pedal), please understand that in rare instances, the repair process might take longer. You will be notified of the service status via email.
- If your warranty has expired, repairs will be charged.
- All shipping charges (both directions) will be covered by the customer.
Warranty Transfer
If the original buyer sells the product to a new owner, the warranty transfers to the new owner.
Please note:
- The secondary market warranty is valid for the remaining duration of the original 2-year warranty period from the initial purchase date.
- To maintain warranty coverage, you must continue to use the pedal according to the user manual's instructions and recommendations.
- If you encounter any issues with your pedal, please follow the service request process outlined in the "Getting Service Within the Warranty Period" section above.
- By providing the pedal's serial number, we can accurately identify the original purchase date and determine the remaining warranty period for your DryBell pedal.
- The pedal's serial number can be found on the back of the housing, a sticker inside the product box, or handwritten on the outer packaging.
Getting Service Outside the Warranty Period
Even after your warranty expires, you can send us your DryBell pedal for service. Repairs will be charged. Please email us at info@drybell.com for more information about out-of-warranty service.
We offer reasonable repair fees and will provide a clear repair fee estimate along with return shipping costs before you send your pedal in for repair. This ensures a transparent and seamless experience. The repair fee will be determined based on the pedal's issue and the required repairs, and you will have the opportunity to approve it before any work begins.
What the Warranty Doesn't Cover
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Loss or theft of the pedal
- Defects caused by misuse, mechanical damage, liquid damage of any kind, being dropped, unauthorized modifications, power surges, lightning strikes, improper storage, or natural disasters.
- The warranty does not cover any damages or injuries resulting from the use of this product. By using this product, the customer accepts the terms and conditions set out above.
